Mike Jones has once again graciously allowed the SWLA Historical Association and the McNeese Friends of the Library to re-print his historical articles written for the Lake Charles American Press. The book includes articles concerning the Civil War and other war stories and articles about Lake Charles and Calcasieu Parish. The compilation of articles from 1990 to 2004 comprise over 650 pages hardbound in blue buckram with gold lettering. The Historical Association re-printed Mike’s previous articles (1979-1989) in three volumes, which were extremely popular. The cost is $35 if the book is picked up from the McNeese Archives. The cost for shipping is an additional $6.50 - for a total of $41.50.
